e-TDS :- Procedure & New Password to download Form 16/16A and NSDL Consolidated Fvu File

As everyone knows that a new website has been launched to download form 16/16A or consolidated fvu from tdscpc.gov.in.    Not only website but also style of their passwords to open zip files have been changed. at tdscpc.gov.in.   Details procedure and New Password style have been given below :-

  • Enter Request Number or Request Date to filter records
  • Both From & To Date are mandatory
  • Click on ‘View All’ to view all download requests
  • Download buttons will be enabled only if Status is ‘Available’
  • Select a row by clicking on it
  • Select a row and click on download button to download the requested file
  • File will be available under ‘Requested Downloads’ for 30 days after which it will be deleted

  • HTTP Download is useful to download small files. It will directly download file for the user
  • Download Manager is useful to download large files and where internet bandwidth is slow. This will launch a window, which will download an applet. The Applet is a large file, hence first time download might take time. But for subsequent requests, it should load immediately. User can use this tool to download file. This tool has the ability to resume download in case of failure
  • Procedure to use Download Manager for various browsers are provided below
  • Internet Explorer:
    • Click Tools and then Internet Options
    • Select the Security tab, and select the Custom Level button
    • Scroll down to Scripting of Java applets
    • Make sure the Enable radio button is checked
    • Click OK to save your preference
  • Chrome:
    • Click on the wrench icon, then select Options
    • Select Under the Hood and then Privacy Content Settings. The Content Settings panel will appear
    • In the Plug-ins section, select the Disable individual plug-ins link to check whether Java is enabled
    • Click on the Enable link (if the Disable link appears, Java is already enabled)
    • Note: Alternatively, you can access the Plug-ins settings by typing about:plugins in the browser address
  • Firefox:
    • Start Mozilla Firefox browser or restart it if it is already running
    • At the top of the browser, select the Firefox button (or Tools menu in Windows XP), then Add-ons. The Add-ons Manager tab will open
    • In the Add-ons Manager tab, select Plugins
    • Click Java (TM) Platform plugin to select it
    • Click on the Enable button (if the button says Disable, Java is already enabled)

  • Form 16 and 16A text files and NSDL Conso File are protected by password. Enter password to open file
  • Password for Form 16 / 16A text file is TAN of deductor
  • Password for NSDL Conso File is ‘TAN_’. Request Number should be of the request submitted for NSDL Conso File
