How to collect e-Aadhaar Card urgently

              If  you have applied  aadhaar card and have not received the same till time.  In case of urgency, you may try to collect it through   http : // eaadhaar . uidai . gov . in    Reason of non-receipt of aadhaar card may be wrong address in your application form,  not processed by government till today or lying in postal department process etc.   However I want to share that you can collect  your aadhaar card through internet if government has processed your card and has generated the same successfully.

How can I  get eaadhaar card  ? 

• Simply Enrollment Number and  Date or Time issued by the agency to whom you have deposited your application form. 
• Resident Name
• Pin Number (remember it , it will be password to open your aadhaar card file.)
• Enter the text shown 
• Verification code will be sent on your mobile number mentioned in your application or there is choice to enter the new/present Mobile number.
• On placing code available in your mobile , your card will be downloaded which can be opened through password already given by you as Pin Number. 

How to Validate Digital Signatures on e-Aadhaar?

In case you see the ‘validity unknown’ icon on your e-Aadhaar, please follow the below procedure: -

1. Right click on the ‘validity unknown’ icon and click on ‘Validate Signature’.
2. You will get the signature validation status window, click on ‘Signature Properties’.
3. Click on ‘Show Certificate..’
4. Verify that there is a certification path named 'CCA India 2011'. This identifies CCA India as the owner of the digital certificate that has been used when signing the document.
5. Mark the certification path named 'CCA India 2011', click the 'Trust' tab and then 'Add to Trusted Identities'.
6. Answer 'OK' to any security question that follows.
7. Check(√) the field for 'Use this certificate as a trusted root' and click 'OK' twice to close this and the next window.
8. Click 'Validate Signature' to execute the validation.

Note: - Once 'CCA India 2011' has been as a Trusted Identity, any subsequent documents with digital signatures from CCA will be validated automatically when opened.

Gas :- Check Your Aadhaar Status

           Oil companies has started to provide the facility to "View Your Aadhaar Status".   On home page of Indian.co.in, it is available in right hand side with the Name  "Check Your Aadhaar Status" and under Transparency Portal it is available in left hand side.  

What is Required to know the status of my Aadhaar Card ?

              Simply enter your Gas Consumer No with the Name of Distributor.  The following screen will be displayed.  Green, Red and White rounds will introduce your status of your aadhaar  card with the Company that whether your Aadhaar card is attached with IOCL or not or it is also attached with your Bank Account or not.

AADHAAR (Unique Identification Number)

Aadhaar is a unique number which will issue to all residents.  It contain 12digits.   The number will consequently form the basic, universal identity infrastructure over which Registrars and Agencies across the country can build their Identity Based Applications.  AADHAAR (UID) number is stored in a centralised Database and linked to the basic demographic and biometric information- Photograhp, Ten Fingerprints and IRIS- of Each Individual.

Cost of UID Card :-

• Totally Free to all Residents. 
• Aadhaar is a unique Number not a Card.
• Aadhaar is Good to have an Aadhaar Number, but still it is not Mandatory.

Proof of Identity and Address :-

            Aadhaar numbers as Proof of Identity and Residential Address for issue of new LPG connections  Applicants for new domestic LPG cooking gas connections can now produce the  letters of allotment of Aadhaar Numbers issued by Unique Identification  Authority of India (UIDAI) as proof of identity and proof of address. 

          Three OMCs, Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation and  Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, have advised their respective LPG distributors  to include the Letter of issue of Aadhaar numbers with photograph and address  issued by UIDAI as proof of identity and address for release of new LPG  connections. Henceforth, the Aadhaar (Letter issued by UIDAI) will be included in  the list of documents sufficient for issue of new domestic LPG connections.
